Eric Holm with "Kortsluiting"

After years away from the stage, Eric Holm is back in the theater. This time, he’s performing solo for the first time in the musical theater production *Kortsluiting*. It’s a show about trial and error, about love and loss, and about the struggle to find and accept yourself. It’s a celebration of human resilience.

What can you expect?

Eric takes you on a personal and moving journey filled with relatable stories, anecdotes, raw emotions, and humor, while laying himself completely bare. He speaks candidly about his youthful insecurities, his rebellious school days, the loss of loved ones, and his struggles with relationships and addiction. But thanks to his storytelling talent and self-deprecating humor, even the heaviest topics become accessible. Between stories, he sings well-known and lesser-known Dutch-language songs by icons such as Harrie Jekkers, Bram Vermeulen, and Stef Bos. These songs form the soundtrack of his life. He is accompanied by Zeeland-based musicians Alwin de Waard and Hans van Zee.

About Eric Holm

Eric Holm is an actor, singer, theater director, and a born “loose cannon.” Because of his ADHD, his life unfolds at the intersection of chaos and unbridled energy and zest for life. For many years, he performed as an actor with the children’s theater company ’t Hondje van de Ruyter and at the cabaret De Kuil. He has also appeared in Dutch TV series and feature films, including *Wilde Mossels* by Erik de Bruyn. Over the past ten years, he has focused more on singing and is a member of Dubbel D and De Dijk Tributeband, among other groups.
