The municipality of Kapelle consists of the villages of Biezelinge, Kapelle, Schore, and Wemeldinge. The hamlets of Eversdijk and Abbekinderen are also part of Kapelle. Lush green landscapes and fruit orchards surround the villages. Kapelle is located in Zuid-Beveland, between the Oosterschelde National Park and the Westerschelde, a major shipping route to Antwerp.

Chapel

Kapelle is a ring village. The Dutch Reformed Church is located in the center of the village, with houses surrounding it. The village has grown out from this central point. It is now a village with many amenities, a variety of shops, and a population of about 9,000.

Wemeldinge

The village of Wemeldinge is both authentic and modern, with a rustic main street and a lively marina. Thanks to its central location on the Oosterschelde, Wemeldinge is a popular destination for divers and water sports enthusiasts.

Hoarse

Schore is the smallest village in the municipality of Kapelle. It is a green, quiet, and rural village situated along the canal through Zuid-Beveland.

Biezelinge

Biezelinge is located south of the village of Kapelle and is separated from Kapelle by the railroad tracks.

Eversdijk and Abbekinderen

The municipality of Kapelle comprises two hamlets: Eversdijk and Abbekinderen. The hamlet of Eversdijk was a separate municipality until 1815, when it was incorporated into the municipality of Kapelle. Abbekinderen is a hamlet that lies partly within the municipality of Kapelle and partly within the municipality of Goes.
