Zeeland Fruit Museum

The ZeeuwsFruitMuseum showcases fruit cultivation through the themes of Blossom, Growth, Harvest, and Pruning. “Trees” can be found not only in the museum garden but also inside the museum. Interactive screens allow each visit to become a personalized experience. In addition, there is a focus on “Oral History,” the oral transmission of knowledge. The auction clock features a digital auctioneer who, even when no real auctioneer is present, can explain how auctions work. Surrounding the museum is a beautiful museum garden. The museum garden is a feast for the eyes in all seasons. For those who look closely, there is something to experience in every season. There are 170 different apple and pear trees and many other types of fruit in the garden. The garden is easily accessible, including for people with disabilities.

Museum Shop

The museum shop offers a wide selection of local products and items related to fruit growing or nature. The shop and the museum café are open to everyone. In the café, you can sit in the conservatory surrounded by fruit trees.
