Hotel Brasserie Smits is located in the bustling Zeeland village of Wemeldinge, a charming village on the Oosterschelde. The property is less than a 5-minute walk from the beach. The exterior of the building has a charming, historic look. In April 2020, Hotel Brasserie Smits was taken over by its current owners. They have transformed the entire hotel and brasserie into an attractive and contemporary hotel and brasserie. There are still many big plans in store for the business.

The hotel has 15 hotel rooms, each with its own character. For your holiday or business trip, you can choose from luxury rooms, standard rooms, or rooms with one or two separate beds. Furthermore, a number of rooms offer a beautiful view of the Oosterschelde. The restaurant has been transformed from a traditional brown pub into a brasserie with a modern classic style and an industrial touch. Old details of the building and the interior have been preserved, such as the bar, the chandeliers, and a number of chairs with a different color. Among other things, regional products from Zeeland are served in the brasserie.
