Hotel Brasserie Smits is located in the lively Zeeland village of Wemeldinge, a charming village on the Oosterschelde. In our newly renovated brasserie, you can relax and enjoy a delicious drink, a generous appetizer platter, or a dish from our menu. Our chef loves to use local products from beautiful Zeeland. For example, our mussels and oysters come from Krijn Verwijs in Yerseke. We also have a large terrace where you can sit in the sun or in the shade. The building is located less than a 5-minute walk from the beach.
Renovation of Hotel Brasserie Smits
The exterior of the building has a charming, historic look. In April 2020, Hotel Brasserie Smits was taken over by its current owners. They have transformed the entire hotel and brasserie into a charming and contemporary hotel and brasserie. There are still many big plans in store for the business.
