Wemeldinge Summer Festival and Annual Fair

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Wemeldinge will transform into a lively village festival full of atmosphere, excitement, and fun. Young and old alike can enjoy a varied program all day long, featuring a fair, traditional crafts, a spectacular ring-riding show, and music in the heart of the village. Come on by and experience a day full of music, a market, activities, and a summery atmosphere in Wemeldinge.

Annual Fair and Activity Area

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you can stroll past various stalls on Dorpsstraat, Dorpsplein, and Wilhelminastraat. Discover delightful finds, local products, and traditional crafts. On Dorpsplein, the Fire Department will be giving demonstrations, and at Brasserie Smits you’ll find a lively activity area featuring athletic performances, a panna cage, a tennis court, and hexathlon activities organized by local clubs.

Flea market and pony rides

For children up to 12 years old, there will be a fun flea market from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the small square behind 1401 Lunch & Brood. After that, it’s time for even more fun: from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., children can go pony riding in the same square.

Live music performances

Live music will be playing on the Village Square starting at 1:00 p.m. Performances will create a festive atmosphere in the village throughout the afternoon and evening. DJs will wrap up the Summer Festival.
