Oysters, mussels, crab, samphire, fish, and of course the Oosterschelde lobster—these are typical Zeeland specialties. But Zeeland boluses, babbelaars, babbelaar liqueur, Zeeland wine, and Zeeland craft beers are also true Zeeland delicacies.

Zeeland has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. For example, there are no fewer than nine Michelin-starred restaurants. Just a few kilometers from Wemeldinge is Inter Scaldes. This restaurant in Kruiningen has two Michelin stars.
In the village of Wolphaartsdijk is Meliefste, a restaurant with one Michelin star. Restaurant Codium in Goes also has one Michelin star. This restaurant is located a few kilometers from Kapelle.
