There are many different playgrounds in the municipality of Kapelle. For example, you’ll find plenty of playground equipment in residential neighborhoods. But children can also have fun playing at places like the sports center and Kapelse Bos. We try to install a wide variety of playground equipment. This ensures that every child can play safely and enjoyably for free.
Jip and Janneke Playground in Kapelle
Next to the Annie M.G. Schmidt neighborhood in Kapelle (Zuidhoek) is a large playground. You’ll find the playground on Biezelingseweg. It’s a wonderful place for children of all ages to play. The entire playground is themed after Annie M.G. Schmidt. There are various swings, a giraffe-themed climbing frame, and a cable car. You’ll also find Takkie at this playground.
Playground for children with and without disabilities in Kapelle
In the Eliwerve neighborhood of Kapelle, you’ll find a unique playground. What makes this playground so special is that children with disabilities can play here alongside other children. This fulfills the wish of former child mayor Lucas. The playground features a fun mix of play equipment. For example, there’s a wooden play structure with game panels combined with a rope ladder for children in wheelchairs. There is also a monkey bar and a slide in the playground. This way, all children can play together. You’ll find the playground on Elstarstraat in Kapelle.
Sports, skating, and play in Kapelle
De Bloesem Sports Center on Vroonlandseweg offers plenty of play options for all ages. There’s a skate park, a panna cage, a basketball court, and climbing frames. There’s also the QR-FIT fitness trail. Behind the sports center lie the Kapelse Bos and the Kabouterbos. In the woods, you’ll also find a nature playground. This is the perfect spot to play, exercise, and run around!
Two playgrounds on one street in Wemeldinge
There are two playgrounds on Oosterscheldestraat in Wemeldinge. They are within walking distance of the beach and the marina. There’s something fun for everyone here, too. For example, there are swings, monkey bars, and a ping-pong table. There’s also fitness equipment and a soccer field.
Skate park and panna cage in Wemeldinge
For skaters and scooter riders, there’s a skate park at Boenze Boogerd Sports Park in Wemeldinge. And in Onder de Linden Park, there’s a mini soccer field where you can play soccer.
Two playgrounds in Schore
In Schore, you’ll find a cozy playground in the center of the village, on Boomeweidelaan. Although it’s a small playground, children can still have a great time there. There are swings, a seesaw, and a slide. And there’s a second playground on Boomeweidelaan. This one features a cable car, a small soccer field, and various pieces of play equipment.
