Ring Riding in Kapelle
Ring riding is a true Zeeland tradition that takes place during the summer months. Ring riders attempt to impale a ring onto their lance while galloping on an unsaddled horse. In the Beveland tradition, this is done with a small lance or “short stick.” This differs from the Walcheren tradition, where riders use a long lance instead.
